What do I say?

ok everything thats been going on with that guy have stayed the same (he stopped talking to me, but we still sit next to eachother at homeroom) and I don't care as much, but its boring not talking, I just want to resolve it somehow, but I don't know what to say or how to say it, because lately I've been giving him kind of the cold shoulder except maybe an occasional hi, but I just need to fix it, and I suppose I was kind of being mean after he suddenely got so quiet, because I asked him what his problem was, and told one of my guy friends (pretty much infront of him) that I didnt like that "kid" (him). So what do I say to him on monday to fix things? please help!
