What is your opinion of the UAW’s Job Bank Program?

That may be one of the things that need to be changed but like you said that practice is 20 some years old. I have a friend that had that in his contract and a few years ago, his job was downsized and he sat for eight hours a day for a few months until they moved him to another plant. He absolutely hated it. So you have to look at the big picture before you generalize.
