*D.I.Y Making/customing motorbike handlebars....?

Welding them like that, theres no guarantees if they will be straight, but it could work.....still may be less than durable though. Why not just get a new set of bars? Why not use something other than aluminum? Theres a lot of options if you have the means to weld and bend pipe. I'd use something a little stronger.
