How to stop my 4 months old from sucking on her hands and thumbs?

Well what i can i say, she was born sucking on her thumbs and all the nurses thought it was cute and though i am against pacifiers, i thought well, it wud be easier to get her off the pacifier ....... BUT looks like i have a little stubborn cutie pie cos now she pushes away her pacifier and sticks her thumbs in that cute little mouth..... so any HELP what shud i do?
