Will My PSU handle a 9600GT?

lol you will blow ur power supply up i bought to 8800 gtx cards last year and i forgot my power supply was 500 watts and it blew. My motherboard and graphics cards and everything else was fine except the power supply so i got a 1000 watt power supply off of tigerdirect.com. Now i have dual 280 gx2 cards which is 2 gb in graphics memory and i have intel extreme.
