Is this an odd gift to send to a granddaughter?

If she were giving you a gift of a towel and washcloth, then a bar of soap to go with it would make sense. That would make a lovely baby shower gift. But a bar of soap and a washcloth is just strange. As for a used stuffed animal, well, that's just gross. Your in laws have no money worries because they are cheap!
