How long does a cold usually last, and what might my sickness be?

I have been sick for 26 days now. I went to the ER the other day with a sore throat, bad pain in my ears, a lot of sinus pressure, and a really bad cough. The doctors said it wasn't strep but it was bronchitis. They gave me a prescription for z pack antibiotics and hydro met cough syrup. I am completely done with my medicine and still at the same level sickness i was before the medicine. I do not have medical insurance coverage to keep going back and forth to the doctors. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
